All the culinary “tricks” of Giuseppe d’Aquino, chef at the Oseleta Restaurant Verona
Today we are in Verona, northern part of Italy, to tell you about one of the best example of italian cooking, the one by Giuseppe d’Aquino, who has held the position of executive chef at the Oseleta restaurant since 2010.
The elegant location is placed within an incredible setting, the Cordevigo Villa, a 5 stars Luxury Wine Relais in an historical building of old charm, surrounded by a huge park of thousand scents and perfumes. All around, the villa is enclosed by the hills above the lake Garda, a mix of wellness and nature that makes it the perfect location for any events, from an intimate wedding to a refined photoshooting.
The Oseleta restaurant is located in the portico wing of the Vulla; the result is a spacious open space full of light, with tall windows overlooking the park, the sparkle of the swimming pool just a little far ahead. In spring and summer the portico terrace turns in to a little Heaven among the olive trees.

From first courses, as the spaghetti with piennolo tomatoes, burrata cheese and lemon peel, to the main courses, among which the cheek of fassone beef with wine sauce of Villa Cordevigo red and cocoa, every dish symbolizes an authentic cooking, creative, savoury and balanced.
How can we forget then the peculiar green side dishes – try the cannolis with Abitella cheese, peas and yellow tomato with vanilla flavour – and the desserts, from the chocolate one to the millefeuille with hazelnut, carrot and cardamom.
