Sperlonga-medieval village

Perched on a rock overlooking the sea, the village was chosen by the Romans as the seat of their magnificent villas for their “otium”. A tourist destination is in fact the villa of the Roman emperor Tiberius.

Sperlonga is also characterized by towers, built to defend against numerous incursions of the Saracens. Fascinating and characteristic are the typical white Mediterranean houses connected each other by arches, and the narrow streets that climb on the top of the hill San Magno, which overlooks sandy beaches and rocks that create small bays. We suggest people who want to live romantic moments  to relax on the benches decorated with majolica facing the sea. Finally, for those who love nature, near the villa of Tiberius is the Blue Oasis, a protected area of W.W.F.

Sperlonga is a place to discover, perfect for everyone!
